This year's theme is Disruption: The Opportunity of Threat or Otherwise and we're excited to have Dr. Karl Aspelund, Assistant Professor at the Department of Textiles, Fashion Merchandising and Design at the University of Rhode Island as our keynote speaker! Dr. Aspelund, who is also part of the research team for Dr. Mae Jemison's 100 Year Starship Program, will take us into the world of contemplating interstellar travel, the associated cultural considerations and how they relate to us here on earth.

During the forum we will explore a variety of technical topics of interest to all our member communities, with presentations on security, video services, cloud computing and so much more!

We will also be exploring something new to the event, Lightning Talk Presentations. Lightning Talks are designed to provide a fast introduction and explanation of a topic.  There will also be a panel of experts discussing the latest trends in healthcare technology.
